So I bought a new 1080p monitor yesterday and needed some new wallpapers.

Very nice! I'm going to be sharing some photos I took of a Ford GT in an hour or so. Just waiting for the BTS video to upload.

What monitor did you get? I've been in the market for a 2560x1600 monitor for a while, just waiting for prices to come down.

Are you looking for a "legit" 2560 panel? The other day a Korean panel was on sale for $269 w/ free shipping. I've had one for over a year now. Love it.

Very nice, and a great deal! I'm running dual Viewsonic 1080p monitors at the moment. Having the extra pixel real estate is a nice.

Do you know the voltage and plug type on it? I do want to replace my dual 1080's for a single 2560x1600. I know I'll lose a little pixel real estate, but I like having everything on 1 screen.

I've seen some good deals on panels for Korea in the past, but the voltage and plug type was set up for Europe and not North America. I'd like to avid adapters and inverters if I can.

Uhhh not really. I use it here in the USofA with no problems and no weird adapters. It does have a power block though instead of a straight power cable like from the back of a PC tower. A regular two prong plug is on the end.

The sale I was talking about was on this Dealzmodo: http://gizmodo.com/dealzmodo-your…

Awesome, thank you!! Power blocks are fine, so long as it plugs into a standard NA outlet and takes 110 voltage.

It's the size I'm looking for and a great price too! Response time is a little slow, but I'll be using it for photo and video, so no worries there. This is fantastic, thank you!

EDIT:
Oh, and it's compatible with my GTX580. Looks like the wallet is going to be a few hundred short this month.

Yepp, it takes 110-240V in. Just did some learning online haha. The response time isn't too bad. I use it for random editing, gaming, and coding. Mostly the latter two. I love the screen real estate and am actually thinking of picking up another. Having this much room on my screen is like crack; you can't stop getting more.

Agreed! I usually game or watch movies on 1 monitor and edit photos/brows the web on the other. Having almost the same real estate all on one panel will be nice! This is really great, thanks again!

No problem! SquareTrade will also cover these monitors.
